In the leaflet ‘The roads are too dangerous, right?’ There are seven themes for prayer. Below is one of the seven themes, these will change regularly.

We pray for all those ‘on the frontline’ when an incident occurs. Police officers, ambulance crews, fire and rescue services, paramedics, doctors, nurses and hospital staff - and those who are called to work with victims and their families in the aftermath. We pray that they will have courage, skill, clarity of purpose and endless compassion. We also thank God for all who are called to work in this way on behalf of the rest of us.

The prayers and actions of Lincolnshire’s Christians will make a difference by helping to reduce this carnage.

Road Traffic Collisions are the biggest cause of death and injury in Lincolnshire.

98% of all road collisions are caused by drivers taking unnecessary risk.

50% of casualties are passengers or innocent road users.
