CTAL links together eight denominations and networks of churches in
Lincolnshire, and enables and encourages them to pray together,
discuss together and act together.
We explore and encourage interventions where the impact of
the churches can be increased to acting together rather than separately.
We represent our member churches in discussions with county
and district authorities and other local bodies. For example, we have
a longstanding relationship with the Lincolnshire Road Safety
We offer a channel through which the churches can speak with one voice.
We are the sponsoring body for Local Ecumenical Partnerships in Lincolnshire and we encourage sharing between churches of all kinds. We encourage and support churches in Lincolnshire to join together to serve their communities and we assist a large number of local Churches Together groups throughout Lincolnshire.
We sponsor the highly-effective Mission-Shaped Ministry training course in Lincolnshire. We provide an opportunity for our members to undertake Fresh Expressions of the Church.
CTAL is able to operate because of the financial support of our member denominations and networks. We are grateful to them for allowing this important work to continue.
