As member churches within Churches Together in all
Lincolnshire
we
acknowledge with thankfulness
 | our
common faith in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
|
| our
common call to serve in God’s mission;
|
| the
diversity of our traditions and the different gifts each brings to our
common life.
|
We rejoice in the growing partnership of trust between our churches as we have
shared our life over recent years.
We believe we are called by God to share our life more deeply and actively, and
to seek to offer to the world a united witness and a shared service.
Therefore, as fellow pilgrims in faith, we commit ourselves to work together
| in
proclaiming the good news of the
Kingdom
of
God
and nurturing new believers;
|
| in
expressing the love of God through common service in our communities;
|
| in
resisting and seeking to transform all that threatens or subverts the values
of the Kingdom;
|
| in
promoting justice, peace and reconciliation;
|
| in
celebrating and preserving the integrity of creation so that this and future
generations can enjoy and share its blessings;
|
| in
finding other partners with whom we can work.

We believe that this commitment can be expressed in a variety of ways and in
different places, but in particular we believe it should be enabled through the
life and work of Churches Together in all
Lincolnshire
and its agencies.
In all this, we acknowledge the guidance and support of Churches Together in all
Lincolnshire
,
its Presidents and its agencies.
We pray that God will lead us, with all our sisters and brothers in Christ, in
witnessing to the uniting love of God, and in growing towards that full visible
expression of unity which is God’s will.
