The General Election has been called and will take place on Thursday 6th May 2010. This is a real opportunity for the Country, in particular us as Christians, to have our say on who should be leading and running our Country.

Premier Radio have started a campaign to encourage Christians to vote and tell the MP’s that as a Christian we will be voting for parties that reflect our Christian Values.

In some areas the churches and faith communities have responded to political extremism by publishing statements encouraging people to vote. http://www.methodist.org.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=opentoworld.content&cmid=1840
