Lincolnshire Chaplaincy Services is a Registered Charity No. 1126896 and Company Registered in England and Wales No. 6491058
Chaplains represent the church in the places where the Church is hardly recognised. They work in colleges and the University and visit factories, businesses, farms and community organisations. Chaplains pioneer along the “fault line” between the Church and society reminding both of the need to live out the values of God’s kingdom.
LCS works on behalf of all churches, assisting the work of every congregation with a heart for mission and is to be relevant to all institutions and communities helping them to flourish for the benefit of all. All the Presidents of CTAL are members of the company which was set up in order for LCS to become a registered charity.

“To promote the physical, mental and spiritual well being of the inhabitants of Lincolnshire by, in particular, but not exclusively, providing and maintaining ecumenical Christian chaplaincy support and pastoral care to places of work, education and leisure for the benefit of the community of Lincolnshire and the surrounding area without distinction of race, sex, political, religious or other opinion of the members of such community”.
