CTAL links together eight denominations and networks of churches in
Lincolnshire, and enables and encourages them to pray together,
discuss together and act together.
We explore and encourage interventions where the impact of
the churches can be increased to act together rather than separately.
We represent our member churches in discussions with county
and district authorities and other local bodies. For example, we have
a longstanding relationship with the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum and the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership.
We offer a channel through which the churches can speak with one voice.
We are the sponsoring body for Local Ecumenical Partnerships in Lincolnshire and we encourage sharing between churches of all kinds. We encourage and support churches in Lincolnshire to join together to serve their communities and we assist a large number of local Churches Together and Transform groups throughout Lincolnshire.
We sponsor and support the Pioneering Community in Lincolnshire, and provide for our members involved with Fresh Expressions of Church, or engaged as Mission Enablers in the County.
CTAL is able to operate because of the financial support of our member denominations and networks. We are grateful to them for allowing this important work to continue.
